PHOTO ALBUM: Starry-eyed newlyweds captured in stunning night-time snaps

It differs photographer to photographer, but normally you’ll find they leave you to it after the first dance. Getting ready shots, ceremony and group photos, and the LOLs at speeches all in the bag, the more aesthetic portion of proceedings is over and now it’s time to let your hair down. Nobody really needs an additional 100 photos of your once-perfectly preened guests chowing down on some bacon rolls or tripping out of the photo booth with a fake monobrow on.

You could be missing a trick here, mind you. Once the sun goes down, a more amateur snapper is out of their league. But for an accomplished shutterbug, the capacity for atmospheric photography shouldn’t be overlooked. Especially if you’ve shelled out for a fireworks display. Your guests’ iPhones just can’t compete.
