Will Spanish label Rosa Clará’s popularity know no end? Kudos Bridal Boutiques, in Edinburgh and Dunfermline, is the latest in an ever increasing line of stores to fall under the designer’s spell. “Rosa Clará’s new collection has just arrived at our Edinburgh shop and we are so delighted to add another fabulous name to our rails,” reports owner Michelle Scott. Make the trip to the capital for a peek at a handful of decadent yet dainty designs from one of Barcelona’s brightest bridal creatives – we’re eyeing up Doe (above, £POA) which balances a beaded bodice with a sublime, airy skirt, and Dakota (below, £POA), with its ethereal, fairy-queen cape.
“As the popularity of barn and rustic weddings increases, we are seeing a lot more of the softer skirts and off-the-shoulder necklines hitting our stores,” Michelle considers. “The floaty, bohemian look will continue to be very popular this year and next and I can’t wait to see more brides explore this relaxed bridal aesthetic.”
If Rosa Clará doesn’t win you over, Kudos has ushered in fresh styles from Australian designer Wendy Makin, local talent Catriona Garforth and True Bride and there’s plenty on offer for mother dearest too. “We’ve welcomed our autumn/winter range from key occasionwear designers Cabotine and Zeila into the boutique,” announces Michelle. “Expect blue and raspberry tones to dominate this season. There’s also some killer hats and bags to complete the outfit.”
